Our daughter has been fortuante to attend Camp Kateri Tekakwitha in Williamsburg, Kansas over the past 3 years. As middle schooler, she gets to attend for 5 nights. Daily Mass, Adoration Chapel, Confession, along with all of the other "typical" summer camp activities like lake swimming, canoeing, repelling, mountain biking, horseback riding, etc. She has made so many sweet friends from all over Kansas that share her Catholic faith. My favoirte part, of course, is the entrance where the counselors greet each camper in their vehicle and then pray over them. I always tear up! Oh, and the entrance to the camp is so beautiful...a Kansas limestone wall with "Welcome" and "Behold, Mary, Star of the Prairie"...gets me every time!Valeriehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17633704862629969672noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5937303870758455964.post-75062559615273181582018-07-26T07:47:46.471-04:002018-07-26T07:47:46.471-04:00Hi! I attended Catholic grade school (and high school), and our grade school/ parish allows girls to be alter servers (as do most parishes in the area). Is there a reason yours does not? Not judging; I'm just curious! :)Melhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03860357205191932193noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5937303870758455964.post-39323373716163677412018-07-24T15:18:45.690-04:002018-07-24T15:18:45.690-04:00What a blessing to have so much going on in your d...What a blessing to have so much going on in your diocese!
