He's our oldest, and I am very excited. Around here (New Jersey) many people do formal Communion pictures. My dad still has mine in his wallet 30 year later! So, last week I took our 3 kids to JC Penney to have his pictures done, too. Knowing my family it is near to impossible to get a good picture of anyone, and I do not have one of those nice, fancy cameras, so JCP will do! I wish the boys at our parish wore those beautiful white garments over their suits. I love it. I bet all the children look angelic. I enjoy your blog and have been meaning to introduce myself. I'll try to send you an email, but for now, I hope you have a wonderful weekend celebrating Maggie's First Communion. Take care.Jacelynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13396679252513469962noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5937303870758455964.post-24210312962301194492016-04-30T19:17:53.723-04:002016-04-30T19:17:53.723-04:00Hope Maggie's day is wonderful!Hope Maggie's day is wonderful! We aren't Catholic but have many Catholic friends. 8 years old is our church's eligible age for baptism, carrying a lot of the same significance of a Catholic First Communion. It's fun to have that all in common with our Catholic friends in town. My son is getting baptized this summer and we're all looking forward to it - it never does get old!Jenny Evanshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06320766378823015885noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5937303870758455964.post-38709860427473317222016-04-29T09:22:03.307-04:002016-04-29T09:22:03.307-04:00How exciting for Maggie! That's definitely a prom thing around here but we never did it for First Communion. Just a few shots on the front porch and then we headed to church!Beth Cotellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14536268080265726705noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5937303870758455964.post-14132174652238116062016-04-29T09:14:29.193-04:002016-04-29T09:14:29.193-04:00Those jeans are awesome!
