Years ago I heard a speaker...mom of ten boys from TX...she called fruit "God's candy" and I try to tell my kids that from time to time. :)Khttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05674187855810187495noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5937303870758455964.post-42726510190052570872017-03-08T07:25:01.491-05:002017-03-08T07:25:01.491-05:00Yes, yes! All the things! Not even kidding, you an...Yes, yes! All the things! Not even kidding, you and I our minds must be like mommy soul mates. These are so many of the kind of things I've been thinking lately.
Like yes, why am I not asking my 5 and 6 yo to do some of these chores that I know the big kids were doing at that age? And, why are my big kids getting let off the hook so easily? Sheesh. Get with it mama!
I had to laugh at the way you enlist the big kids or highly suggest to a little one to get a big kid to help. Yup, that's me. Most especially in the evening when I am just.done. DONE.
The Inbox...I know! Why do I not just unsubscribe from those annoying ones I really don't care about? How hard is it?! I will unite with you in this lenten project and get it cleaned up.

Here's to a prosperous Lenten season at both my house and yours! Cheers! (with water of course, because it's Lent and all) ;)Sarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16604810218733272554noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5937303870758455964.post-9248335707303008482017-03-07T23:14:06.483-05:002017-03-07T23:14:06.483-05:00This is a really good post. Recently someone complimented my husband and I on our "Mass parenting" and all I could think was, "Well, you did not hear the hissing and whisper threats I didn't hold back..."

And it only recently dawned on me that I need to take more time to show my girls how to do tasks and chores properly. I get impatient like these things *should* be ingrained knowledge...when it's obv. not. Parenting is hard!Lisahttp://andapinchofzest.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.com
