Not any more, now I know it is just because the #3 is most definitely the game changer. And heck, as long as I was at that point, #4 was a breeze. Well, perhaps that would've been a bit different if there was a bit more spacing. But hey, I took what I got and I'm so glad I did :)Sarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16604810218733272554noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5937303870758455964.post-56617227916166814102014-02-10T15:12:33.093-05:002014-02-10T15:12:33.093-05:00Oh my gosh! I tend to agree with Jim, or at least I did when the fourth started crawling ;) Maybe it's just that you get better at treading the water and you realize that the moments of drowning don't last... So much depends on the spacing of your kids, family situations, health, and personalities. But it there's a whole lot that does get easier, that's for sure! I don't know about that...but it is oddly reassuring.

Good luck with #6. Can't wait to hear of his or her arrival.

God bless.Jenniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14527973802393864654noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5937303870758455964.post-72050107007518877662014-02-10T12:14:02.759-05:002014-02-10T12:14:02.759-05:00That is so true about the 4th kid. Before, I was nervous about having kids too close together and wanted to wait at least 2 years between pregnancies and after my 4th, I was all whatever....give me more babies. Of course my 4th is now (almost) 17 months and I'm not pregnant so we're still not going to have closely spaced kids, but after my 4th I was much more open to a close spacing than I ever was before and I can imagine myself having a bigger family than I did before. I don't know if it's age (I'm 36, so I don't have tons more years of childbearing left) or just experience or the fact that my kids are older, but I can totally understand wanting a large family and closer child spacing now than I could before. As you say, it all goes by so fast, it gets easier over time, and then those kids have each other. They have built-in amusement, activities, and laughs. They have built-in best friends. The best gift parents can give their kids really is each other.

In this day and age, when people sometimes seem overwhelmed at the idea of big families. this post is like a breath of fresh air. I think all young parents starting out should read it. :)Laura Pearlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16108081477711821273noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5937303870758455964.post-9925905561658577982014-02-10T10:45:54.423-05:002014-02-10T10:45:54.423-05:00Sounds easy enough!!! haha Thanks for the encourag...Sounds easy enough!!! haha Thanks for the encouragement!
