Theme Thursday: Hats and Scarves

Playing along with Cari because Cari plays nice.

This week's theme was hats and scarves, and I found this oldie but goodie that was taken right after Maggie was born, when I begged Phil to take the boys outside so I could rest with her.

John-Paul was 4, Andrew was 3, and Eamon was 14 months.  He screamed like a banshee all the time back then.  It stopped around 19 months old and then he actually turned into someone we liked.

This photo reminds me how much I love toddler boys.  Oh my goodness.

And it reminds me that I need to go to the store to get some bread, milk, and eggs along with all the other crazies because we are expecting a foot of snow tomorrow!

  1. Can't stop laughing at Eamon's face. Gabriel was just like that (except he stopped at 6 mo. - I don't know how you didn't sell him to the circus if it kept up for 19 mo.!) so I know it's not funny, but his squished up pirate eye is killing me.

Thanks for linking up! See you in the spring after we've dug out of 2 feet of snow.

  7. I too like the scremaing banshee face. He is adorable! I love toddler boys too! My girlfriend lives in Boston. She just ordered boots off of Zappos for her 14 year old. Scheduled to be delivered just in time for 17" of snow. LOLOLOL Stay warm!

  11. Okay, so first things first ~ you have the most adorable lovies ever. But secondly, that screaming banshee face: priceless! So, you're telling me that if one has a child that does nothing {NOTHING} but fuss, scream, whine, and pitch a fit . . . there is hope? 19 months, you say? Hmmmm. We're a little past that, but I just may be seeing a light at the end of this tunnel.

  12. Love it, Colleen! Soo cute! That snowman is awesome...I remember the days of hats and scarves. My girls wouldn't be caught in a hat or scarf for anything these days. I am lucky if they wear a coat to school. Wait, I take that back...Madison is all about scarves, as long as they compliment her outfit. Which of course doesn't include a coat, so everyone can see her scarf...

  13. Awww... they're so little there. I don't even remember Eamon ever being like that! He was always an angel in my memory.

  14. This shot sort of reminds me of the Christmas Story kids. Any of your kids ask for a Rey Ryder BB gun this year?

  18. Ahaha I love pictures of kids throwing tantrums - for some reason it's so funny to me, which might be bad... But they just look so ridiculous and I like to memorialize the crazy as well as the cute!

  22. Your little guy reminds me of my 2 year old that doesn't like snow and normally cries when she is in it.

  23. In his defense, toddlers + snow = torture. Can't not play with it, can't stay warm in it.

    :)
