Three New Catholic Books: A Review and GIVEAWAY

There have been a bunch of new Catholic books published recently.  Forget Spring Cleaning, it's Spring Reading right now!  I have been able to read each of these books and have teamed up with the authors to offer a giveaway to one of you!

That's right, the winner will receive ALL THREE of the following books:

1

Mary and I have known each other for years through our blogs and have shared the joys of raising a whole slew of boys together.  When I was particularly anxious during my 6th pregnancy, Mary took the time to send me a beautiful care package filled with helpful pregnancy goodies.  How sweet is that?  It's something I will always remember, as it truly helped ease my fears.  Mary is not only an empathetic friend and mother, she is also a doula and a talented writer.  She has penned THE book on Catholic pregnancy entitled Made For This.  Guys, it's really good!  Full of wisdom on how to incorporate faith into every aspect of your pregnancy and birth, and I love all the real life testimonies from moms scattered throughout the book.  There's even a couple of excerpts written by yours truly :)  If you are pregnant, might become pregnant, or know someone who is pregnant...this book is for you!  And then once that precious baby is happily gestating, you're gonna need book number two...

2

Kate was a longtime online friend through her blog at Sancta Nomina, where she writes all about baby naming.  She even wrote a great name consultation for us when I was pregnant with my 6th boy and fresh out of boy names!  We got the chance to meet her and her family in real life last summer when we spent a day at the beach and it was so lovely, I can't wait to sit and chat with her again.

Kate is expecting her 7th baby (she has 6 boys!) but somehow managed to write a book full of Catholic baby names as well.  The Catholic Baby Names for Girls and Boys book is amazing.  I can picture every expectant Catholic couple cuddled together reading it, thinking of names for their unborn babe.  I didn't realize how many names there were for Mary, and some are so unique, but I feel those kind of names (with more traditional nicknames) are all the rage.  You're gonna love picking up this book all the time!  And once that well-named baby is born, you're gonna need book number three...

Frank Fraser has written an adorable children's book called Before I Was Me that talks about what/where/who we were before we were born.  My kids ask me this question all the time, those little philosophers.  It's an endearing story about how God loved us each into creation and will always love us no matter what.  It's a great Baptism gift or birthday gift to your favorite little Catholic kid :)  My young ones keep asking me to re-read it, and oh my word, the illustrations are unbelievably perfect!

Now for the GIVEAWAY!!

All you have to do is leave a comment telling me where you're reading from...that's it!
Don't be too specific, we don't want any security breaches a la facebook ;)

I'll pick a winner (based on a random number generator) on Tuesday, May 1, 2018.  Good luck!!
