7 Quick Takes Friday

1) As I came home from my run this morning, John-Paul said "It looks like you have Mickey Mouse on your back":

2) Yesterday, the big guys finished their school year, and we went to the annual party that John-Paul's classmate hosts.  It's always awesome, and a great way to end the school year.  J-P will be going into 4th grade in September, and Andrew will be entering 2nd.

3) I've been drinking lots of this until I decided if buying a juicer is worth the investment (anyone have one?):

4) Guess who is coming to visit us tomorrow???
Don't be are more than welcome to come visit too :)
5) What else?  Work is good but crazy busy this time of year for me.  Phil's last day is Monday and then he becomes SAHD.  But he's pretty happy about it.  Ha!  (Get it?  SAHD...sad...happy, I crack myself up)

6) I am really running out of steam, but the next one is super important.....

7) Happy Father's Day to all you amazing dads out there!
I got extra lucky with a great dad for myself and one for my kids:

Have an awesome weekend everyone!

  1. Yes, Mickey Mouse is ON your back!
The pool party looks so fun; how nice that you don't have to host it.
    Happy Fathers day to your hubby, you know the SAHD one. {FUNNY!}

  2. You crack me up too! Have a great weekend.

  3. That is a good looking family coming to visit you. Seriously. I bet the woman does fashion blogs and everything.

  4. 1. M-I-C-K-E-Y...M-O-U-S-E. John-Paul was right :)
    2. Hooray for end of the school year and a pool party. Lucky kids!
    4. So jealous..Clan Donaldson and Martin Crew together again--that's sure to be fun! I wish I could stop on by.
    7. Happy Father's Day to my favorite Bloggy {SAHD} dad!

  5. LOL... good observation with the Mickey Mouse on your back! A pool party is a great way to celebrate school being over! Have a wonderful weekend celebrating Father's Day! :)

  6. How fun to have Cari and the clan visiting! (Jealous.)

I loved the Mickey Mouse image on your back. LOL! I also wanted to say thanks for helping me to get out the door and walking. I'm not quite ready for running but as I mentioned in my post today, you were one of the moms that inspired me to get moving! :-)
