  1. For World War 2, I loved A Thread of Grace by Mary Doria Russell. In fiction I loved A Father's Tale by Michael D. O'Brien.

  2. I would not group Kate Morton in with "lite reading". She's Historical Fiction and not lite at all. Excellent writer.
