Blogger Book Recs

Welcome to some good book recommendations from some of my favorite bloggers who love to read!  I'm only listing books that you would read sitting next to your mother, and wouldn't mind if your daughter picked up to peruse.  We are talking G or PG ratings :)

The following book recommendations come to us by way of Jenny Uebbing at Mama Needs Coffee.  Please read her post here for more detailed descriptions about each of her picks, and thanks to Jenny for letting me repost them here!

Fiction lite (suitable for beach, plane ride, or mindless late-night consumption*)

Aspirational self improvement/business memoirs/human interest:
World War II novels set somewhere in Europe:

YA Lit that won’t make you want to scratch your eyes out:
  • Echo by Pam Munoz Ryan
  • Wonder by Rachel J. Palacio

Religious/Spiritual reads:

Borderline recs (proceed with caution depending upon sensitivity):

This list will constantly be added to as I get bloggers to share with me their book lists :) Also, I am an Amazon Affiliate which means that when you click through and buy with my links, you are helping my family get a teeny kickback at no cost to you.  Thanks for shopping!

  1. For World War 2, I loved A Thread of Grace by Mary Doria Russell. In fiction I loved A Father's Tale by Michael D. O'Brien.
