1)
America's Test Kitchen recipes.
We have this book and this one and this one. Basically anything we cook comes from one of their tested and delicious recipes. And we may record the TV show to watch too. Ugh, we are total kitchen nerds.
2)
We bought Andrew (age 8) this book for Easter, and he is very excited about it. If you have a boy that loves comic books, it's a great way to get them to read the Bible.
3)
Quite possibly my favorite candy ever. With the exception of Maynard's Wine Gums, but you can't find those anywhere.
4)
Crazy Maggie hair!
Our couch makes her hair go static-crazy and it always makes us laugh.

I shared this on my Albion Fit giveaway post, but this bathing suit really is perfection to me, maybe if I talk about it enough, they'll send me one?
Go see Hallie Jen for more favorites!
I'm going to have to look into the Action Bible. My son, who used to love to read real actual books has taken a liking to graphic novels...which is a fancy way to say comic book. But, I guess it's still reading!
ReplyDeleteAnd gummies? Ewwwwww gross!
I think my husband would love the comic style bible lol. And I loooove that swimsuit!
ReplyDeleteLove the swimsuit too and have been wanting one like that for a while, but I have a huge fear of "blousy" suits . . . I wonder if they will make me look fatter?? They look GREAT on stick thin models, but I am not stick thin model!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the America's Test Kitchen cookbook! And Maggie's hair!
ReplyDeleteWe love ATK cookbooks - the recipes are delicious and they are always full of good tips.
ReplyDeleteI will have to check out that bible. Fiver's reading specialist said that he needs to read books with small chunks of text, like a comic book or graphic novel, instead of full pages of text. It helps his visual processing speed. We've found some great classic books in graphic novel form, but I'd be excited to have him read the Bible like that too!
I will have to check out that bible. Jonah has bday coming up and First Communion, may need to purchase since I think he'd totally like to read it comic style.
ReplyDeleteNothing like static girl hair. It's all the rage! Her smile really says it all. I can almost hear her giggling.
The Action Bible?!?! YES!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThe Action Bible is now in my Amazon cart. Perfect First Holy Communion gift for our son who loves the Bible stories. Thank you for sharing! Cindy

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful bathing suit!
ReplyDeleteI have many of the America's Test Kitchen Cookbooks and I LOVE them!! I have yet to make something from them that didn't turn out beautifully. They are my favorites!
ReplyDeleteI love the style and color of that bathing suit...I'm looking for a new one too!
ReplyDeleteHer hair! Lol. Love it.
ReplyDeletei love that suit too and we have that bible
ReplyDeleteWe love America's Test Kitchen, too. Any more we don't buy a kitchen appliance or item unless we first check to see what they've said about it. And their recipes are always the best.
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love the Action Bible. We bought one and the 4 big kids were always arguing about whose turn it was to read it, so we had to get another copy. Yes, you read that right, they were fighting over bible time! You can usually find it at Sam's Club for much cheaper than online or bookstore pricing.
ReplyDeleteMy husband, the chef-turned-culinary-arts teacher loves all things ATK. He approves of it being first on this post :)
