Gratituesday

I'm borrowing this "Gratituesday" idea from her. Hope she doesn't mind!

Anyway, today I am grateful for household machines. This morning, I ran my dishwasher, put a load of dirty clothes in my washing machine, transferred them to the dryer, cut up a bunch of vegetables and placed them in my crockpot to make a yummy and healthy corn chowder, and my bread machine is generating the most mouth watering smells from the Honey Oatmeal Bread it is baking.

I can't believe women used to have to do all of these chores by hand...I am so blessed!

  1. We are so on the same page.
I DESPISE washing dishes by hand.
    I LOVE my crockpot.
Seriously, if I could have an appliance crush, I would be on my crockpot. ( I am fully aware though that the crockpot and I are still in our honeymoon phase.

  2. I can't even keep up with my laundry WITH a washing machine! I think women in other generations could have taught me a lot about household management... then again, they were not ever distracted by blogs... lol

  3. I so agree with you! I can't imagine trying to do everything without machines. It would be so hard!

Your family is beautiful. Have a wonderful day!

  4. A dishwasher? What is that?? Where can I get one?? I still have to wash the dishes by hand. Go kiss your dishwasher for me.

Oh and I'm with you on the crockpot thing. :o) Enjoy your dinner!

  5. I covet your dishwasher--someday when I grow up I hope to have one as well.

However I am thankful for running water and hands that are able to wash dishes, and the fact that we have dishes...and food to put on the dishes...how that for gratituesday??

  6. You need to get a robot vacuum to add to your household stuff. You just turn it on and it cleans the rooms all by itself!!
