After my walk yesterday, I took a photo of my 8 month baby bump. Phil saw me doing it, and offered to take the picture for me. He also suggested that I should change out of my workout clothes and take a shower so he could take a nice picture. NO WAY! I explained I needed to be sweaty and in workout clothes and taking the self-photo in this bathroom so that I could compare it to my 32 week photo with Alexander. It's all in the details.

So here we are with Baby Martini:
Wow those non-maternity stretchy shorts are all kinds of not flattering. |
vs.
32 weeks pregnant with Alexander:
Even sweatier because it was June. |
Now do you believe me that it's a boy?
I only have pregnant photographic evidence with Maggie at 39 weeks, if you must see a pregnant-with-girl photo to compare:
This sweat was purely from pregnancy. |
I think it's a girl. ;) And, I think you look like you are carrying differently than with Xander.
ReplyDeleteWow, you are pretty much the exact same shape as you were last time--and carrying high, so it looks like it might be a boy. If it's a girl, an old wives' tale will be put to rest, once and for all. :)
ReplyDeleteYou look great pregnant, by the way!
Still not buying it -- belly pics are not reliable evidence in my family. My belly looked the exact same with Bess, Maisie, and Joe, and my belly with Simon looked like a typical "girl" belly. If I have time to look for the pics, I'll post them. I was 100% sure that Maisie was a boy -- I would have bet and lost vast sums of money, that's how sure I was. When she born and Rob said, "GIRL!" I was stunned. I stared at her pink hat for 2 days and still couldn't believe it! I was happy, just so surprised.
ReplyDeleteUnless you know something we don't and are keeping it under wraps? ;-)
Boy or girl, you still look great! And it appears that you have only gained weight in your stomach. A little jealous over here as I appear to also have a baby growing out of my a$$! :)
ReplyDeleteyou look so awesome.
ReplyDeleteYou look littler this time around!
ReplyDeleteLOVE these! You always look fabulous but how do you keep getting better and better?
ReplyDeleteI will not doubt your mother's intuition but I think the belly looks the same-ish in all 3 pictures. And I think you look lovely in all 3.
ReplyDeleteI have no guess. At all. : )
ReplyDeleteBut you look great!
Oh my gosh 8 months? I can't wait to hear the announcement. I am still holding onto my guess of a little lady, but I am nearly always wrong with these things.
ReplyDeleteReally??? Could you be any cuter???!!!
ReplyDeleteNah, my belly looked identical with my son and daughter. With my second son it looked completely different! Can't go by the belly. You should have just found out! Then you could have known it was a girl for sure ;)
ReplyDeleteIs it the pants, or was your butt rounder with X? Because it looks flatter this time. And it also looked flat in the M picture.
ReplyDeleteKIDDING! It's totally a boy. X and Baby Martini look identical.
I agree..boy or girl you look awesome. in pretty clothes or sweaty. Man this pregnancy is going fast. I CANNOT wait to see this new sweet babe. you guys are blessed.
ReplyDeleteThose 32 weeks pics look identical. But make sure you take a pic at 39 weeks, too, to compare at that point. Gotta tell ya, you look almost the same at 39 weeks, too.
ReplyDeleteYou are so cute even when sweaty! I imagine that it is cold in your 'hood, so you were really working out. I hope you are feeling well!
ReplyDeleteXO
You are having a girl.
ReplyDeleteYou are adorable.
I don't know, your tummy looks rounder with Xander and more football like this time around. I am still thinking girl!
ReplyDeleteI say boy. I've never been wrong...about anybody's baby but my own...yet...I would put $20 on boy. Is there a pool? ;)
ReplyDeleteWho cares the gender, Mama, you got it goin' on. Enough said. You are cute either way, to which all the rest of us be jealous.
ReplyDeleteAgain, stop guessing mama, it's going to be a girl. 'Cuz I said so.
So beautiful!! :)
