Irish This Baby Had a Name

I hope everyone's wearing a bit o'green today!  Maybe this shirt if you're Irish or this one even if you're not.  And remember, 'tis no sin not to be Irish...just a terrible, terrible shame.

{Sorry, we Irish are a prideful people.  Kinda like Texans.}

St. Patty's Day Past

I am getting an awesome gift on this St. Paddy's Day because Kate from Sancta Nomina is helping us pick out a name for this sixth baby boy.  Go read it and tell me what ya think!  We need allllllll the help in the name game, or he really might turn out to be Enda Dunn.  Thanks lassies, Happy St. Patty's Day!

  1. I love Cormac with the nickname Mac...Connor and Kieran are a awesome fit for your criteria. What about Malachy? Malachy....it is Irish and a saint name.

    1. That was such a fun post. I love Cormac. Or Connor. Or Owen. Or Miles--which I never liked before, until I read that it's actually a Marian name for males. Suddenly, I'm a fan of the name Miles.

      And you can never go wrong with Danny. (I have a son and a grandson with that name, and I love it.)

  7. I like Killian and Finnigan. I see many other like Owen and just can't stand it. It just doesn't seem special enough especially coming after a Xander and Declan which are very creative and unique. Good luck with all the suggestion! It should be fun for you and Phil.

  8. I have a Benjamin as well....he goes by Ben, Benny, Benji, Bendy (b/c our middle called him Bendy instead of Benny for the longest time), Bendo, Benny the Boo, Boo Bear, Benny Pat (his middle is Patrick) and very rarely, Benjamin. :-)

  9. What great choices! We also love Irish and Saint names. We have a Cullen John which works for the N requirement. Our others are Quinn Margaret, Teagan Elizabeth, Nevin Katherine, Rowan Mary and Declan Peter. God Bless!

  10. There a great deal of Aidens around here. My Benjamin goes strictly by Benny, so I'm partial to that. I think the best thing about having so many children is picking the names. I LOVE picking baby names. Enjoy this special task.

  12. I like Brendan and Kevin is a close second. Both fit your saint bill, Irish bill, and N bill. : )

  13. I actually like your name ideas of Rowan and Bennett the best. Cash for Cashel is cute. I know Finn was a no-no, but what about Fionn? Too similar? Galen? Tathan?
