Halloween and All Saints Day 2019

Umm, Xander?  I think you need to brush your teeth!

I bought the littles new costumes this year, since they always get the hand-me-downs.  Declan was Aladdin and Brendan was Blippi (a really annoying kid show).

Xander was Captain America, Maggie was a scarecrow and Andrew was a farmer.  JP was just a good sport who came along to help corral the little ones with us.

Eamon is not in the family photos because we dropped him off at a friend's house to go trick or treating with his friends' group costume:

Secret Service, Pence, Trump

Then we went trick or treating down the main street of a nearby town...

After that, we went to my sister's house for the annual pizza dinner and trick or treating tradition.  Her kids are the Wizard of Oz characters, so cute!

This is the only photo I took of the night-trick-or-treating.  Declan, who is five, was alllll about it this year.  He was the first to every house, ringing the doorbell and having a blast.  Brendan has been asking all week if he can "Go to Halloween yet?" as if it were a place.  He kept saying how much fun he was having and it was a really fun, low stress night.  It's gotten so much easier with out having a baby in the mix!

Then we crashed into our beds from our sugar comas, and woke up to become saints!  If only it was that easy ;)

The Martin Litany of Saints 2019 include:

Padre Pio

St. Damien of Molokai

St. Francis of Assisi

St. George

St. Gianna

May all the Angels and Saints watch over us and pray for us (especially all the tired parents who celebrate two days in a row!)
