Hi Lo: November 12th

HI's:

1) I got a new job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Is that enough exclamation points?
I will be working at a private boarding school full-time as an Accountant.  The school is located on 125 acres of beach front property - not too shabby!

2) The extra money I will be making will help us in paying off the IRS loan.  We are soooo thankful that my relative is loaning us the money, but we want to pay it back as fast as possible.

3) We are in a period of no sports.  This is uncommon around here, as my kids play soccer, basketball, baseball and track.  We have even thrown swimming lessons in there in the past.  Not having a game or practice to get to on a Saturday morning will be super nice.  Until basketball starts :)

4) I got to go to a friend's bridal shower, and it was very nice.  Great company of women and great food!

LO's:
1) I have to leave my old job.  I'm not too upset about leaving the actual job (bye bye public accounting!) but I will miss the people and it's been very nerve-wracking to let everyone know I'm leaving.

2) I've been sleeping so poorly.  The last 3 nights I have been waking up at 3:30 and can't get back to sleep.  It's made for some great early morning workouts at least!

How was your week??

  2. Congrats on your new job. We got a letter yesterday that went over the reasons we may have to pay back our credit but we knew all the things from before...however I thought of you guys as I read it and got frustrated for you...again. Thankfully we are fine as we knew the conditions before we got the credit. Financial stress can take such a toll on a marriage.

all those sports....not ready for THAT!!! :-)

Our LO was that we've all been sick so Our high was that we bummed around and had no guilt..pretty pathetic huh. :)

    Have a great weekend!

  3. congrats on the new job. i think you will be much happier, especially during tax season. i hope that you really like it. it is so hard to leave a job that you have been at for a while. i hope the transition goes really well.

  4. Love all your HI's.
Perhaps your sleeplessness is because of letting your co-workers know you are leaving?

My week had a very big LO at the beginning; losing a friend.
It ended on a HI; Lolo getting signed with a great university!

  6. Congrats on the new job! It sounds greta, alothough it is tough to leave coworkers whom you like.

I do not know how you do it with all the sports? We only have one sport and cub scouts. With that, co-op and Spanish class, I feel like we are on the go too much! I am so thankful that J likes running with me!

  7. Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A few more exclamation points can't hurt. That sounds like a great opportunity and you'll have an awesome place to take walks after lunch. (not in winter, brrr)

I'm only doing 1 after school activity, and that's hard for me to get used to. Well, there's also piano, but the lady comes to our house. I love it!

We are also in a sports lull and its weird! We have basketball practice but no games until dec 1. Its odd having weekends with no sports games.
