Mother's Day Photos

We picked up my parents and went out to brunch at one of my favorite restaurants in Plymouth, MA.

It was not a log cabin, we were just waiting in the coat room.

This is why we make the drive to this place.  Yum!

If the menu says M&M on it, you know my little M.M. will be ordering it.

WIWS
This shirt was $5 at JC Penney
The necklaces were gifts from the kids, and of course, priceless.
And yes, I wore the necklaces all day!

We went for ice cream after brunch.  Calories don't count on Mother's Day.

J-P was upset Phil ordered him a kid size.

Eamon doesn't care what size he gets, as long as he gets some!

Coffee soft serve with chocolate jimmies.  Yum!

Then we went to inspect my parent's new house.  My Dad is still working on it, but it looks so nice already!  The original house was the brick part.

View from the side.  There's also a huge backyard, and the plan is that we will buy this house from them in a couple years and add on an in-law suite and another bedroom above it.  Then we can all live here together!

We went home and had nap time.  I slept for 3 hours!!!  #bestmother'sdayever

Our town has these huge "windmills" that can be seen from very far away.  We took the kids on a walk/scooter ride to see them up close.

Our walk brought us to the ocean, we are so lucky to live here.

My top five reasons I love being a mom.

My loves!

I thanked Phil for such a wonderful day, and I thanked him for making me a mother and he replied "It was my pleasure" :)  Turns out my Dad said the same thing to my mom that day as well.  Men.  Gotta love 'em.

  1. Oh my goodness - that looks like a spectacular day! And your parents house... LOVE IT! And how lucky that you get to buy it from them one day! I grew up in a big house with a mother-in-law suite with my Grammy. It was the best. Seriously, built-in-babysitter and yet they still have their own space!

    Happy Mama's Day!

  2. You know how I know I'll never really be a New Englander? I'll never ever ever ever ever refer to sprinkles as "jimmies".
