Fall Pickings

We finally went Apple Picking for the season!

Let's look back through the years, shall we?

Apple Picking 2005:
Still one of my favorite pictures!

Apple Picking 2006:
I had just given birth to Eamon 3 days earlier!
 Apple Picking 2007:
Maybe going up on a ladder with a baby on your back isn't the smartest idea...
 Apple Picking 2008:
We finally have a girl in the mix!
 Apple Picking 2010:
I miss these days.
 Apple Picking 2012:
Otherwise known as Xander's first modeling shoot ;)
Apple Picking 2013:
The last year of five troublemakers!
As soon as we took that last picture, it started to rain, so we ran through the orchard and picked fast and left in about 10 minutes.

You can see their wet hair and shirts here!  We went home and colored pumpkins (that's as crafty as I get...no carving) and had such a great family day - baked cookies, made a crowd pleasing dinner (spaghetti and meatballs) and watched football.

Oh Autumn in New England, how I love thee!

  1. Great pictures; love the through the years perspective but not sure which would make me more nervous taking a 3 day old to an orchard or having my husband climbing a ladder with a baby on his back :)

Love that Xander is another dark-haired one in the group but I'm thinking this one will be light again!

Also, apples last weekend, cranberries this one? Y'all are a little fruity.

  8. Oh! I miss fall. Apple picking was one of the highlights of our year and it is my husband's life long dream to own an apple farm.

And you guys are always too too cute!

  9. Oh, how cute. I loved the walk down memory lane! I've never picked an apple in my life...unless you count the times I do it at the produce stand.
