Easter is Coming - Hop to It

I learned a long time ago to throw all of the Easter Basket goodies into one laundry basket instead of making individual baskets.  It means you can give shared gifts and buy bigger bags of candy and I use it as an excuse to get a new laundry basket (and get rid of an old cracked one) each year!

Paint by Sticker Book - such a great boredom buster that's not messy!

The Action Bible - the way my kids pored over this graphic Bible was intense

2025 Guinness World Records - we get the updated book each year

2025 Year in Sports - to give kids more "Did you know..." info

Harry Potter Wizarding Almanac - a certain someone will love getting this

Human Anatomy Coloring Book - for the nursing students and med school students in your life

Set of Markers + a Sketch Book

Kit Kat Bunnies - I've never seen a bunny version of a Kit Kat!

Action Bible Guess it Game - a great car game

Window Herb Garden - Spring is the perfect time to get those herbs growing

Kids Electric Toothbrushes - to compensate for all the extra sugar ;)

New Water Bottle - always immediately loved

Bubbles - no matter the age, these get put to good use

Sidewalk Chalk - for the budding artist

Flower Hair Clips - so cute!

Saint bracelets - my boys love wearing bracelets like these

Anything you are hopping hoping to see in your Easter laundry basket?

  1. I bought thr KitKat bunnies too! And the mini Reeses peanut butter bunnies. And I think I have caramel bunnies? Every candy type embraced the bunny aesthetic this year. I have to make a treat bag for the 5th grade class, so I went way overboard in buying individually wrapped candy. The kids are really into sour things, so i found sour oatch kids bunnies and sour punch twists.I wasn't going to give a gift this year, but I might get everyone a new Tiny Saints charm. Great idea using a laundry basket- there's always at least one cracked one!-mbmom11

    1. I love those Tiny Saint charms, they are adorable. I went heavy on the fact books and car games/activities because we are doing a road trip for Easter and the week following this year.

  3. I'm feeling really far behind. We don't do many gifts for Easter - mostly just candy. When the kids were little we did coloring books and bubbles and sidewalk chalk. The little girls would probably like more sidewalk chalk. Those saint bracelets are really cute and I can see my kids enjoyed those. For Easter, I'd like warmer weather, please. ;)

  4. The one laundry basket idea is GENIUS! Whish I would have thought of that 40+ years ago. I totally LOVE making up Easter baskets, and even my grown kids enjoy getting it (only one daughter-in-law dislikes the whole thing...but whatever! )....still, it is a little daunting now to do 10 different Easter baskets! (I am making only one basket for each married couple).
